Today, two unapproved advertisements by the White House in the USA.
Weatherproof is using Barrack Obama on a giant display installed in Times Square, New York.
It's a photo of President Obama on the Great Wall of China, wearing a jacket of the brand, with the slogan « A leader Style ».
For information, the White House prohibited any use of the presidential image for commercial purposes. But it also seems that the photos from the news are not subject to copyright.
Is it right or wrong to use the presidential image in advertising without permission ? |
